THE PEOPLE IN THE ROOM

Meet our Regulars.

Founders, directors and business owners who believe work gets better when the people around it do too.

WHY REGULARS?

Think about the best local pub.

The person behind the bar knows your name. You recognise a few faces. You get that little nod before you have even sat down. There is a familiarity that makes walking in easy.

That is what 'Regular' means at HUUDDLE.

It is the feeling of coming back to a Social and seeing people you know, alongside the new face you are glad you met. You do not have to reintroduce yourself from scratch every month. Conversations continue. Trust builds. The room becomes more useful because people actually know one another.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Good people. No performance.

Regulars help shape the room. The idea is simple: show up as yourself, make space for proper conversation and leave having made the time worthwhile.

Come as you are

No forced pitch and no awkward script. Bring the work you are doing and the person you actually are.

Make space for good conversation

Ask a better question. Listen properly. Let the conversation move somewhere more useful than a name swap.

Keep coming back

The value is not in how many people you meet in one evening. It is in seeing the right people often enough for familiar faces to become trusted connections.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

What the room feels like.

“Some networking groups feel a little forced, awkward even. The huuddle is the opposite. It’s a natural community of like minded people, where the regulars welcome you warmly. Then one day you realise you are a regular and you return the favour to a new comer walking through the door.”

— Chris Ward, Vermont Systems Ltd

“I wanted to join a local business group with the intention of creating a few more business connections and to promote visibility of our brand in the local region. Since I’m not interested in the hard sell or structured business clubs, but wanted a friendly approachable likeminded group, Huuddle seemed to offer what I was looking for. Having joined very early on, I’ve seen the Huuddle grow in size, brilliantly led and shaped by the very energetic Sara Merriman. She has created a real business community that not only enables businesses to network, but provides a platform for real human connection, without the ‘hard sell’ which is the reason I show up. It honestly has nothing to do with the delicious food that accompanies every event!!”

— Clive Allen, i4 Projects

“My experience with the Huuddle so far has been exactly what I needed so early on in starting Gunn People. I feel lucky that I was introduced by another member, the group are very supportive and welcoming and the best way to put it is that my world feels much bigger - and when you start a new business that is exactly what you need. I show up every time to make sure if there an opportunity for me to help someone or for new business myself I don't miss it - and the beer..”

— Jess Gunn , Gunn People

FINAL INVITATION

Maybe your people are in that room too.

HUUDDLE is not a directory of strangers. It is a community that becomes more useful as people get to know one another.

Start with a Social. Have a drink. Meet a few people. See whether it feels like somewhere you would like to keep coming back to.
